Senior Associate - Contracts


About the Position

This is a key role within the Aviation team working closely with the Associate Director, Financial Controller, Aviation Marketing and broader Aviation team to take responsibility for revenue collection. The individual will assist with the management of all aspects of the revenue collection process. This role is part of our Dublin presence expansion.

Duties will include:

  • Assist with the process for entry and approval of leases into the AerData CMS system, ensuring adequate controls are put in place so all clauses are captured timely, accurately and completely
  • Manage the negotiation and issuance of Letters of Credit ensuring the ongoing terms and validity remain in accordance with the terms of the lease agreement and company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for internal and external query resolution with respect to the leases
  • Monitor and review renewal of the insurance certificates and liaise with the Transaction team and Insurance brokers
  • Responsible for the issuance of all contracted invoices, ensure cash collection is recorded and fully reconciled and following-up with airline customers
  • Assisting with the daily collection effort and working closely with Finance Team, Marketing Team, Underwriting Team and Technical Team
  • Understand maintenance reserves, maintenance events and claim management

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • 3-4 years aircraft leasing industry experience with contracts management or asset administration background
  • Excellent communication skills – internal and external
  • Strong relationship building
  • Numerate and logical
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel
